Nursery of the Week: Girlish Flourish

Beauty of this room is its imperfection, it doesn't feel too "done" or designed. In their separate form none of these elements should work, they should clash, it should be too much, but together it creates a one of a kind space, there is just enough. The blend of old and new like the antique, upholstered day bed topped with bohemian bedding. A purple cheetah print area rug accented with a Moroccan side table, the pastels introduced through the lavender etagerie bookshelf and baby pink glider. The mirror, oh the mirror, think that is the cherry! The juxtaposition of the ornate, formal carving left raw and unfinished and then hung with cord and tassels.
