Have you heard of the tumblr Awesome People Hanging Out Together ? If you have time to kill you should check it out. You have to remember that most of these photos were taken before modern day paparazzi were breaking traffic laws and scaling security walls for pictures and social media just didn't exist. The idea of pulling back the curtain to see that celebs are "just like US" was a novel notion.
