Nursery of the Week: Crimson, White and Patriot Blue

The tried and true color combination of Red, White and Blue will never go out of style and what a shade of blue that is! Tried using the Benjamin Moore Color Capture App to see what it is - let's just say we are having user error. The fabric on the window treatment is fanciful and chic, reminds me of a classic pattern like a toile but better. Links rug - think it was a Pottery Barn or William Sonoma pattern. I wish I had the resource list for this room.

Crazy Cool Coffee Tables

All of these are amazing rooms in their own right but while looking through all the images saved up I noticed that they had something in common - totally unique coffee tables. I actually prefer something a little higher than the standard 16-20 inches. Partly because my couches are taller, I don't like to lean and reach too much and I do a lot of projects on the coffee table so it serves as a work surface. I would gladly sacrifice all that for one of these. For those super traditionalists (namely males) out there who believe that all coffee tables are to be made out of wood I present the following argument.

Nursery of the Week: Bright and Light

The simplicity of the drum shade is such a great accent to this room and really draws your eye up to the fantastic windows. A good reminder to stick with the basics when you have great architectural elements to play up.

Ordered a pillow online - this is how it arrived - no extra stuffing just a tiny pillow in a huge box. The pillow didn't work and now it needs to be sent back in the huge box - d'oy.
