Mom Advice from an Old Friend

 I Awoke this morning with a heavy heart like many Americans thinking about the lives lost in Boston yesterday. When the news flashed the picture of the sweet little eight year old boy who was senselessly killed in the bombing, my four year old asked why his picture was on the screen before I had a chance to change the channel.... How can we as parents shelter our children from the constant barrage of scary news that is everywhere? I saw this post today and thought I would share it. Today is a mom post. Not a design post.

Spring Break...The Hanlons Head to Xpu Ha

Hello Friends, Brittany here for a change! While Holly is on spring break, I thought I would switch things up and share some pics from our family spring break to beautiful Xpu Ha beach in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. As you can imagine, traveling with three little boys under 3 is exhausting!!!!, but well worth it once we got there. See our smiles :)

 

Our twins actually turned 2 while we were there and we had a really cute party complete with a cars pinata and cake complements of the wonderful house staff.

I hope to be adding some more personal and family posts to the blog in the coming weeks in addition to the wonderful design posts that Holly has been contributing.
