Veranda "House of Windsor"

As I was saying... Veranda has a new show home and 8,000 square foot mansion in Mandeville Canyon (that's LA people) complete with designer stables, except that they are designed not by Ralph but Kathryn Ireland! The lady heading up the project is none other than Windsor Smith - hence the name and she has help from her friends, like Kathryn Ireland, Peter Dunham, Richard Shapiro and Martin Lawerence Bullard.

memba this? BTW: His collection on OKL is almost sold out and it has only been an hour and a half. He struggled to get to the 100 pieces but people liked what he choose. Seeing that whole process on the show last night was a total behind the curtains moment.

Martin Lawrence Bullard is having quite the week. Those platform marketers really know how to do their j-o-bs. First, there is this room he designed for the House of Windsor (more on that tomorrow), Million Dollar Decorators is new tonight, and MLB has a container sale on One Kings Lane tomorrow, stuff he found so "delicious" on the streets of London that he is willing to share with you.

Paris Street Market: July

On Saturday some friends and I headed over to the Paris Street Market in Littleton. The intention was to buy a bench for the garden but I came up empty handed. There was lots of Americana on display and a couple of other neat finds but my money stayed in my wallet.

These re-vamped chicken coups would make great storage in a laundry room or mud room.

I kind of wish that I had gotten one of these vintage ski area posters framed in the rough wood - would have been a great present for my brother. Totally reasonable at $40.

Uh, the turquoise jars. I hemmed, I hawed, I passed. I regret. They were so unique and everyone was stopping to check them out.

These were the find of the day and I can't believe we didn't get a card from the craftsman. These poured concrete side tables that were stamped with organic designs and looked very West Elm. For $60 they were a great deal and there were all different choices.
