Favorite Product! Snack Trap

It has been a while since we have done a favorite product but this is a good one. Snack Trap, fun to say and functional. Made for Mom tells us that this nifty container was invented by Mom, Christine Moss. The "Snack-Trap" is an infant feeding product (designed for toddlers/kids ages 1-5) that minimizes wasted snacks and saves associated clean up time while promoting the development of self-feeding skills among infants. The colorful, tip-resistant cups have handles that allow toddlers to grasp the cup themselves. Each cup has a unique, patent-pending lid has slits that allow toddlers to see and retrieve food with ease. The lid automatically closes when the toddlers remove their hand. The product allows toddlers to feed themselves while helping to prevent spills when the cup is knocked, dropped, or thrown (as a result of a temper or just for fun). Convenient and portable, this product was named a "2005 Top 10 Hot Product for Moms & Babies" by American Baby magazine. Our 3-pack features new opaque colors and is dishwasher safe. Colors and styles may vary. BPA Free

Favorite Product! Baby Legs

Leg Warmers are back people, with a vengeance. Don't worry you won't have to be rockin' the trend yourself as an adult (unless you want to! the 80's are back in fashion) but your little bambino can sport the trend with Baby Legs.
Look at that strut, she's all "yeah, my leg warmers are totally sweet!"
Why leg warmers for babies? Glad you asked,
From the website:
In April of 2005, Nicole Donnelly was a mom in a bind. Her daughter had a diaper rash that just wouldn't quit and she needed some diaper-free time. Wanting to keep her daughter warm, Nicole snipped the feet off of a pair of socks and fitted her daughter from hip to ankle with the coolest set of leg warmers. These leg warmers not only kept her daughter warm, but also protected her from the elements, made diaper changing and potty training easier, and protected her soft knees while crawling. With some fun designs and some grassroots marketing support, the functional and fashionable leg warmers that began as a solution to keep little legs warm quickly became much more.

They make a great shower gift, you can buy the packs as presents.
Lots of options for colors and designs.

You could mix and match your to your liking.

Favorite Product! Sophie the Giraffe

You can't argue with a toy that has sold over 30 million pieces. Sophie the Giraffe has been around since 1961 when Monsieur Rampeau in France came up with the idea to make a soft rubber teething toy in the shape of an easy to grasp giraffe.

image via
SOPHIE is still “traditionally” produced to this day, a process that involves more than 14 manual operations. She is made from 100% natural rubber derived from the sap of the Hevea Tree.

Sophie the Giraffe is made of 100% natural rubber and food paint, and is completely safe to chew, just like a feeding bottle teat. Her soft texture and numerous chewable parts (ears, horns, legs), make her perfect for soothing baby’s sore gums during teething.

She ain't cheap at about $20 a pop and you know you are going to lose her more than once but the kids seem to love her! She would make a great shower gift.

Favorite Product! Pacifier Clips

missprissstyle

The Pacifier Clip or "leash" is one of those things that you see and say to yourself "now, why didn't I think of that!" With all the germs floating around and at the rate things are dropped with the little ones this little invention makes a big difference in a mom's life (and her quads). Check out all the variations too! Now days there are tons of vendors that sell them and they range from $4-$15 depending on how fancy you want with this accessory to be. They can be beaded, monogrammed, bedazzled, and customized every which way. You probably need more than one to clip on all those fun outfits and one for your diaper bag, so don't feel limited when it is time to choose from the endless variations. Just snap and go!

Favorite Product! Oliver's Labels

Oliver's Labels are a staple that should be in every parents' bag of tricks. The company was started by a woman who saw her nephew, Oliver, constantly losing track of his stuff. Her printing background led her to create fun and durable personalized labels to put on everything from bottles, sippy cups, food containers, lunch boxes, backpacks and even clothes. The labeling system takes on a whole new meaning when you send your child off to day care or school and the teachers and staff will really appreciate know what item belongs to what child.

The labels are durable enough for shoes
and they are waterproof with a super adhesive to stick on anything.

Fun Bag/Luggage tags

Iron on labels for clothing that will survive the washer and dryer!

Then there is the bonus for all those "misplaced" belonging. Oliver's Labels has the Found It system that provides a tracking number on the label that is connected to your email. If you lose a cup and someone else finds it they can log in to the website and report it found by entering the tracking number. Then you are automatically updated via email that the item has been recovered. So smart!

Favorite Product! Compagnie de Provence

Simple, straightforward packaging seems so obvious but there are some that do it better than others. Case in point Compagnie de Provence They took the most basic design and made it desirable. For soap! They have some amazing scents and they even offer an organic line (top image)

I have wanted to buy some for a while but the only time I ever see it is in overpriced boutiques when I am on vacation. I didn't want to risk putting the glass bottle in my suitcase and then find it exploded during the flight or after the baggage handlers gently placed it on the baggage claim machine.

Randomly, I was at Martin and Osa and they had a bunch of the soap and hand lotion on super sale.

I bought 3 soaps and 1 hand lotion for like $20! The 16.9oz glass containers are $23 online.
I got the smaller versions which are actually plastic bottles instead of the glass but they still look great and as soon as they run out I can buy this refill soap.

Or, I will just find another company that makes the scent I like and re-fill the bottle.
Run and go get yours, or call to see if they have it in stock. I am debating going back for the rest :)
